For those of you who do not know Chris Rosebrough, Chris launched both Pirate Christian Radio and Fighting for the Faith in 2008, after doing apologetics ministry for over a decade. He holds both a Bachelor of Religious Studies & Biblical Languages from Concordia University Irvine and an MBA from Pepperdine University. In addition to his duties as our Captain, Chris is currently pursuing an MTS from American Lutheran Theological Seminary and he serves as Pastor of Kongsvinger Lutheran Church, a member congregation of The American Association of Lutheran Churches in Oslo, Minnesota.
For those who do not know Katherine Ruonala, while she holds no theological or medial training she testifies there are countless who are miraculously healed because of her ministry, yet she is unable to provide a single medically documented case. Katherine Ruonala promotes her own in-house bible school charging thousands of dollars above the cost of the study material. Katherine holds herself up as the proof her teachings work, her lavish lifestyle, prosperity and popularity, all proofs that if you do what she teaches, you too can have heavenly encounters, you can live with more than enough and you will experience heaven on earth. This is kingdom lifestyle but it is the wrong kingdom. Katherine Ruonala is not illuminating a pathway to heaven but the stairway to HELL.
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1, ESV)
“I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:6–9, ESV)
